It is used to connect control systems and other UNIMA-KS devices equipped with RS-485 UnimaBUS interface to Ethernet (communication with devices via the Internet). Remote access to the device is then possible using the ManagerAP service program. Unlike the previous version of the internet-bridge (which was only an RS-232 to Ethernet converter), this converter also contains an "arbiter" of the UnimaBUS RS-485 bus. It can be connected to any device on the bus and the bridge connection will therefore not occupy the RS-232 interface of the device (which can then be used, for example, to connect a local PC). The IP address and port can be set in the bridge parameters.
